We arrived home safely yesterday (Friday) afternoon. All is well, both with Uncle Joe and with our house. Neighbors said there were LOTS of fireworks but, fortunately, no fires -- it has been very dry here for the last six weeks so fires are a definite risk.
We took Uncle Joe back to the storage place and tucked him in until our next outing. Stay tuned.
