Where the Antelope Play

We took a relatively short drive yesterday from Kanab, UT, to Page, AZ. Page is where the Glen Canyon dam is, and the southern end of Lake Powell. We are staying in a campground overlooking the lake. It's hot here, over 100 yesterday afternoon.



But, the real treat here (and our reason for coming) is Antelope Canyon. We walked through the canyon this morning and, ooh-la-la, it is magnificent. It's what they call a slot canyon, very narrow, with formations carved out by water. My new camera really did a great job grabbing the flavor of the place.
