Today is my birthday, number 67. We celebrated by going to dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Blythe, CA. We had been there for lunch one day last week and found it to be the best Mexican food in Blythe (it's really pretty good). We've tried most of the other places since we've been here and haven't been impressed. I had shrimp fajitas, and Paddy had beef fajitas.
Their liquor license has been suspended so we weren't able to have a beer with our meal (I like Tecate). We made up for that by having a nice pour of Scotch when we got back. I'm enjoying that now as I write. Cheers!
