Yesterday we left River Breeze and drove to Rio Bend, near El Centro, CA. The trip was uneventful – no wind storm and blowing sand as greeted us last time we came here. We were able to get into our slot without too much problem, but the oleander hedge is so close to the slide-out that Paddy had a problem hooking up the utilities.
I spent some time cleaning inside of Uncle Joe, lots of dust, then set off for the Activity Center to find out about the ceramics class. No one knows when it will start, but they did give me a calendar of activities and explained where they will take place. I’ll keep you posted on what we participate in.
We have lots of TV channels, but some are fuzzy and many are in Spanish. Have to pay extra for Wi-Fi, but we can share a subscription if only one of us is online at a time. That will take some getting used to.
Shaddy is settling in and hardly seems to notice that we’ve changed locations, except for new smells to check out.
