This evening we are at Bear Den RV Resort in Grangeville. It's still very hot, but we turned on the AC as soon as we set up Uncle Joe in the campground. We had hoped to stay here two nights but have decided to hurry on to a cooler place.

Hell's Canyon
Today we drove from Boise through Hell's Canyon to Grangeville, ID. Hell's Canyon follows the Little Salmon River and Salmon River via US Hwy 95. It's a pretty impressive canyon to drive through, but waaayyy to hot! Temps in the 90's. We did enjoy the scenery, though. Here are a few pics.

Nancy, this is where Collin's first job was--doing archaeology in Hell's Canyon. He lives in eastern Oregon not far from there. Frank went down highway 95 in July! Thanks for the pictures!

Pat & Nancy: For reasons I don't understand, the daily report does not always come through, so "Nan's Blog" is a great back-up. Still allows me to follow the trail. Keep moving.
